# Coragora > A connected map of knowledge with sources cited, from first principles to open questions. Public data; no key needed. Our own text and arrangement are CC BY 4.0; each source keeps its own license. Use these endpoints for lookups you need to be able to trace. Every response names its source. Weights are co-occurrence in the research literature, not claims about the world: two topics being "studied together" says researchers publish on both in the same papers, nothing more. ## The map (research topics from OpenAlex, CC0) - [Fields](https://coragora.com/map/fields.json): the 26 fields, each with its largest areas, the fields it is studied with most (normalised weight), and counts of open problems filed under it. - [One topic](https://coragora.com/map/T10320.json): replace T10320 with any OpenAlex topic id (T followed by digits). Returns description, keywords, domain, field, area, paper count since the cut-off year, links to OpenAlex and Wikipedia, and neighbours as [topic id, weight 0–1], strongest first. - [Whole map](https://coragora.com/map/data.json): every topic, area, field and domain, every kept edge {a, b, w, shared}, and the topics we left out as catch-alls with the reason for each. - [Human view](https://coragora.com/map): link to a view with #d=, #f=, #s= or #t=. ## Graphs built from books - [Discrete mathematics](https://coragora.com/map/graphs/discrete-maths.json): 169 ideas (concepts, methods, results, applications) and their links (builds_on, uses, part_of, generalizes, contrasts_with, applies_to), each citing the book section and printed pages it comes from, plus "frontier" links to open problems. Built from the structure of Epp, Discrete Mathematics with Applications, 5th ed.; all wording is Coragora's own. Everything is marked draft until a person checks it; interpretation "editorial" marks our own judgement with no page behind it. ## Open problems - [Problem Atlas](https://coragora.com/atlas): unsolved problems in mathematics and computer science with their formal statement, status and dependencies. Link one with #problem=. - [One stored problem](https://coragora.com/atlas/erdos-ap-conjecture.json): replace erdos-ap-conjecture with a stored problem id. Returns problem (the exact stored formal record, including unknown IDs, success modes, criteria, assumptions, scope, refs and provenance), node (the current lifecycle projection, introduction, original domain, OpenAlex field id and book-idea reachedFrom links when available), all connected edges with their original status and transfer/composition data, lifecycle events and contributions. Edges include unaccepted claims: read their status, not just their presence. Mechanisms, generated proposals and unknown ids return 404. Field ids use the map vocabulary: Mathematics 26, Computer Science 17; unmapped domains have field null. ## Fields of study (U.S. federal crosswalk) - [Dataset](https://coragora.com/subjects/data.json): NCES CIP 2020 programs, the CIP–SOC 2018 crosswalk to occupations, and O*NET 31.0 knowledge ratings (O*NET: CC BY 4.0, attribution required). Every text field carries its rights. ## Notes for agents - IDs are stable. Titles can change; key on ids. - A missing edge means "not among the strongest links", not "unrelated". - Status words mean what they say: a draft is a draft; nothing is marked checked until a person has checked it.
